At CNN it's all about the Balloons

There were previous mentions of balloons on this thread but this is the first one that put the picture firmly in mind. WTF I'm thinking, I mean this is right on the heel of the acceptance speech and CNN is reporting about balloons. Maybe misunderstanding or abberation:

cnn is carrying the audio of some guy yelling for more balloons. seriously, he's yelling "we need more balloons, more balloons. we need more fucking balloons."

What the is CNN's problem? This is Kerry's moment and they have some guy in the background screaming, dropping the f-bomb, about balloons! Do they know what they're doing? At this point in media culture I have to say yes. Anyone else catch this?

No I'm sure that it was an honest mistake, and that no advantage was intended, afterall they invited that very nice Ed Gillespy on after Kerry's speech to provide some balanced analysis, and I'm sure that that nice man Terry McCaulif will be doing the same after GWB accepts his nomination. Speaking of Gillespy:

Kind of an inside joke, material provided by a rep named Cornyn (lots more fun to be had with this name), an audible called, but once the cat is out of the bag, well, ya just got to run with whats given you, ya know. Back to this balloon thing:

Can you believe that after that, CNN talks about the BALLOONS????? Yeah, THAT'S important. Oh, it's just like Carter's convention, the balloons went bad then, too, so Kerry's gonna LOSE.
